Our history - creating the first collaboration platform

 

The idea behind CtrlPrint was hatched at an advertising agency in Stockholm in the late 1990s. Producing a designed annual report for a newly listed client proved unexpectedly challenging, as neither the client nor the agency had prior experience with this type of publication or its differences from standard marketing materials.

The original web development team began exploring how web technologies could improve existing workflows. Since the release of InDesign in 1999, most related innovations have centred around the tool and its companion text editor, InCopy.

Today we have more than 1,000 clients worldwide, and we continue to expand and work globally.
