Installations
Your specific user permissions determine the necessary installations.
Comment-only User (No installation):
If your role involves applying comments without content modifications using Adobe InCopy or Adobe InDesign, no additional installations are needed. Your administrator will assign you ‘Read & Comment’ permissions for the relevant reports. For insights into the CtrlPrint Review tool, which you will use to apply comments, make sure to watch the tutorial.
XBRL Tagging-only User (Installation required):
If you will only be applying tags (ESEF, UKSEF, DK-GAAP, CSRD) but not editing the content, the following installation is needed:

- CtrlPrint Transfer Manager: This application manages document downloads and uploads. Make sure to keep it up to date. Download the installation file here.
Content Editing (Installations required):
If you’ll be editing content, the following installations are needed:

- CtrlPrint Transfer Manager: This application manages document downloads and uploads. Make sure to keep it up to date. Download the installation file here.
- Adobe InCopy: This application is used to edit text and tables in the reports. It’s similar to Word, but you edit directly in the designed document. Documents used on CtrlPrint are version specific and you are required to have the version of InCopy that the document was created with. Details and installation instructions can be found here.
- Fonts: It’s crucial that everyone with permission to edit documents in CtrlPrint has the correct fonts installed. Otherwise, this could lead to issues where PDFs don’t appear correctly or XBRL tags aren’t reapplied as expected. For more information, refer to the details provided here.
Design and Content Editing (Installations required):
If you’ll be editing design and content, the following installations are needed:

- Adobe InDesign: This application is used to edit layout and content in the reports. Documents used on CtrlPrint are version specific, which means that everyone in the project needs the same version of InDesign and InCopy. - CtrlPrint Plugins: To be able to add new documents to CtrlPrint you will need our plugins for InDesign. This has to be done after the installation of CtrlPrint Transfer Manager. You can find the plugins here.
