However, if you need guidance to get started, we've provided suggestions for agencies based on whether the client is new to CtrlPrint and whether they use our ESEF tagger tool. We hope this will help you gain an understanding of what needs to be done, when, and by whom.
 

 

New clients without ESEF

  • Prepare the documents. Read more on the Agency Guide
  • Make sure all the necessary installations are in place. Read more on the Onboarding Guide
  • Set up a project in CtrlPrint. Read more on the Admin Guide.
    • Create project
    • Create chapters
    • Set permissions
    • Activate additional features
  • Prepare users if necessary. Read more on the Admin Guide.
    • Create new users
    • Delete old users
  • Upload documents from InDesign. Read more on the Agency Guide.
  • Start working with content in CtrlPrint
  • Prepare for publication
  • Done

Recurring clients without ESEF

  • Prepare the documents. Read more on the Agency Guide.
  • Use the duplicate project feature in CtrlPrint to use last year’s settings. Make some tweaks if necessary. Read more on the Admin Guide.
  • Prepare users if necessary. Read more on the Admin Guide.
    • Create new users
    • Delete old users
  • Upload documents from InDesign. Read more on the Agency Guide.
  • Start working with content in CtrlPrint
  • Prepare for publication
  • Done
